I have always been captivated by travel. Over the years I been to many places, seen some amazing sights and experienced some memorable scenarios.

I can't help but notice, however, that my travel memories seem to return, with a sense of inevitability, to the actual act of travel. The marvel of transit, if you will.

Indeed, for me, just as Emerson observed: “It's the not the Destination, It's the journey.”

In Transit is my attempt to capture those feelings, the sense of movement, flux and adrenalin that together, make up travel.

With no opportunity to travel myself due to the pandemic, I sourced a selection of stock footage from StoryBlocks to complete the project.

Who knows, maybe I will travel again soon and re-ignite this piece with assets of my own?
